Guess what? It was cool to wash your hands even before the global pandemic. I love browsing soap pumps (I can spend an exorbitant amount of time in the Homegoods bathroom section) and I swoon over beautiful hand towels. Just because everyone in the world has become more conscious of hand washing in the past year, doesn’t mean we can’t look good while doing it. Below are my picks for soap pump and hand towel combos.
I know there are plenty of equally gorgeous trays for bar soap, but I’ve always been partial to liquid hand soap so that’s my focus here. I’d be very happy putting any of these pairings in my bathroom.

Top Row…Let’s get the obligatory CB2 mention out right off the bat. I actually have the hand towel(s) in number one. Yes they are from CB2 and yes they are plush and I love the embroidered detail. They’re interesting without being over the top.
Number two may be my favorite duo. I love marble with dramatic veining, and this soap pump is a great way to get the look without, you know, installing new countertops. The blue towel from Target looks so luxe paired with it. And before I move on to the next row, I have to mention how soothing the towel from number three looks. Waffle weave plus fringe? Crate and Barrel knows what they’re doing.
Middle Row…Number four is just fun. Which, we can all use a little of these days. I love the playful towel from Marimekko and how both pieces use color blocking. And while we’re on row two, that brass soap dispenser in combo six is stunning. It combines the fluted trend that is everywhere these days with brass, which I for one am on board for.
Bottom Row…Number eight is calm and zen. It’s not winning awards for the most exciting, but I’m really into the texture of both pieces. Great for adding interest to a neutral space. Number nine is begging live in a vacation home. It gives me major margarita by the pool vibes in the best possible way.
I know I mentioned my hand towels, but as for the soap dispenser, its a pretty simple glass version with a chrome top. I like it, but, its starting to get worn so I’m excited to upgrade!
