The weather has turned springlike, and with clocks moved ahead here in New York a few weeks ago, I’ve been able to start running again. It’s been something I’ve done fairly consistently (with most of college and the first few years post-college as an exception, as I was having too much fun to care about things like physical well-being) since I was fourteen(!!!) and my favorite way to exercise in general. It’s felt so nice to start it up again in this ideal weather.
My niece “slimed” my mom’s rug this week. I suggested this based on Young House Love’s ringing endorsement, and fingers crossed the stain disappears.
I didn’t watch Design Star: Next Gen, but I am so excited Carmeon Hamilton won! I’ve been following her plant advice for years (plus eyeing her beautiful home) and can’t wait to see her show.
In podcasts that have existed forever and I am just now learning about news: Dumb People Town. I have been laughing out loud and listening to episode after episode non-stop.
What stopped me mid scroll this week? These chairs and this bedroom.
I love, love whenever Cup of Jo poses the “Who’s Your Celebrity Crush?” question. Her blog has hands down the best comment section, and I love to see what her readers have to say!
In baked good news, I’ve made this cake several times, most recently last weekend for Easter, and I was reminded yet again that it is perfection. I promise, even if you’re a cookie>cake person, this cake is magic.
As part of my “no one sees me and I will not spend money on frivolous things” mindset of the past year, I have now gone well over a year without a pedicure. (Summer 2019?) I’m sure my nails are healthier for it, but I am so excited to put some of this on my toes now that the weather is inching toward sandal season.
