It’s the Weekend!

Approaching The Met

I went to The Met last weekend and even though it was freezing then, the weather seems to be turning Spring-like in NYC, so things are looking up!

No one asked me, but, if you want to know what the best chocolate cake recipe is on the internet, it’s this.

I don’t know why, but I haven’t been watching much TV lately.  I’m hoping the next couple of months are the last I have to be a slovenly couch-potato before things start to turn, or at least it’s too nice to not be outside. I’m thinking I should make a go at Breaking Bad?  I’ve never seen it!

Have I mentioned I have a Peloton?  It seemed like the best option to move my body during the winter.  Cody and Emma have my heart, but, I recently tried my first Tabata rides with Robin, and they are serious.

I’m half embarrassed to admit this, because it’s one thing to watch a steamy period piece, and another thing to read a romance novel (no shame if that’s your thing!  It’s just not what I typically gravitate toward), but, I did just check this out of the library.  That’s right, the Bridgerton sequel.

The lamp I ordered from CB2 that I mentioned in this post arrived this week.  It is just as perfect as I imagined it would be.  Oh, and it’s on sale!

Instagram influenced me over the holidays, and I ordered some Poppy and Pout lip balm.  I only got myself one, and I love it.  It is the softest, and I need to get more ASAP.

Has there ever been a more beautiful bathroom vanity?

I can promise you I have never lusted over a camper before in my entire life.  But, here we are.

I can swing dramatically from being a night owl to an early bird.  I was always a night owl, until around 2010, when I trained myself to go to bed early and wake up early.  And that stuck for 10 years.  Then boom, about 10 months into quarantine, I reverted.  I have slipped into the habit of staying up way too late and waking up later than I would like.  Ugh, how does one sleep train as an adult?!
