This week was more running and weather enjoying. I love watching the percentage of people getting vaccinated climb. Speaking of which, I get my second shot this weekend! Fingers crossed I don’t have a bad reaction, but, even if I do, it will be worth it. Let’s get this party re-started! (But safely, I’m not advocating jumping the gun, just excited and hopeful for the future).
I ordered this clock almost a month ago and it finally shipped. I hope I love it as much as I think I will!
I’ve been debating painting my dining nook for a little while now (it’s too white, even for me) but I’m really struggling with a color. Yellow Brick Home has been talking a lot about using a “muddy pink” in their entryway in Instastories lately, and now I’m like, wait, do I want to use a muddy pink?? Decisions, decisions.
I have had this book sitting, unread on my bookshelves for months, which is very unlike me. I almost always devour a book the second it arrives. It’s definitely next on my to-read list.
My three favorites from scrolling this week: this tiled arch, veiny marble for ever and always and a perfect curved velvet bench.
I rediscovered this favorite from Half Baked Harvest last week. While it’s not complicated, there are a few components….trust me though, it is delicious and totally worth it.
I really need to be better about applying sunscreen daily. I used to be so good about it, but with going out less frequently this past year, I’ve become pretty lax. This is not ideal for anyone but especially someone my age who’s trying not to look like a withered crone when I hit 40. Just ordered this from Sephora to get myself back on the wagon.
Lest you think I’m a total monster, I am a fantastic water-drinker and am always well hydrated. It’s one of the few self-care/health rules that I am excellent at following and since we all deserve to be proud of ourselves, I’m going to compliment myself on a job well-done. A+ water drinker. It’s the little things.
