When I was in elementary school, I would flip to the back of the JCPenney catalog and spend hours pouring over images of stylized home decor.
When I was in middle school, I would spend my Thursday afternoons watching Trading Spaces with my best friend before our standing babysitting job.
When I was in high school, I would demand my teenage boyfriend watch HGTV with me.
When I was in college, I would frequently proclaim to my roommates that my dream was to be an interior designer.
I am very lucky that from a very young age, I have known what I wanted to be when I grow up.
I am now an adult. And I am an accountant.
